stretched hips

 

tabby fur

 

sandbar shallows

 

even if this is just a list

I want us to hold it all together

Pink nose, little rose

how come you bloom so wide?

 

I wish the city was like this all the time:

 

magnolia storm and rainbows

you jigging inside

 

steam-cooked yolks and the rest of the colors

 

///

 

where went the last of the preserves?

pantry, stockings

over the winter chimney    loss

 

we will have to make new ones

nettle, green, what to call their springing.
